Great Start to 2022!

The AAC SIG Study Day Overview of Comprehensive Literacy Instruction for students with CCN was a great success and proved highly popular with our membership reaching an all-time high!

The day was mainly led by Jane Farrall, a literacy and AAC consultant, who discussed why developing literacy skills for AAC users is crucial and gave us a tremendous amount of practical ideas on how to implement literacy instruction. Here is a short clip from the day of Jane discussing the importance of providing a balanced literacy diet rather than focussing on one element.
