Win a place at CM 2022!

The AAC SIG is sponsoring one of its members to attend the Communication Matters International AAC Conference 11-13th September 2022 at the University of Leeds. There will also be an opportunity for members to nominate an AAC user or a family member to win a sponsored place.

The sponsorship will cover a full residential placement which includes lodging and meals at the conference. It will also cover attendance for one PA to go alongside an AAC user. Travel and incidental costs will not be covered. Information about the conference can be found here.

Both sponsored places will be drawn by lottery and announced during the AGM at the AAC SIG meeting on the 16th of June 2022. The winning AAC SIG will be asked to present a 15-minute overview of three sessions they attended at the conference to the membership at the AAC SIG meeting on the 17th of November. The AAC user or family member will be asked to present a 5-minute overview of one session they attended. This can be recorded if the winners cannot attend the session live.
